riddle

Ok so i know i have not put up a post in a long time sorry about that.
I have a riddle for you all.
You're in a box, and there is only one way to get out of it. There are no windows or doors, and you can not get out through physical means. In the box, there is a baseball bat, and a baseball. How do you get out?

Let me know if you have a guess and i will tell you if you are right oh and you can't look it up online.
